Looking for a Primary Health Care Provider?

  • New applications for care at Health Care on Yates are not being accepted directly (see below). We are working through the thousands of applications we received when we opened. 
  • If you do not have a Primary Care Provider, please register with the “Health Connect Registry“. British Columbians in participating communities have the opportunity to register for a family doctor or nurse practitioner through the Registry. 
  • To find an “Urgent & Primary Care Centre” in Greater Victoria, please see this link and scroll to “Island Health”.
  • “Medi-Map” is a helpful tool for accessing wait times for walk-in clinics.

Wait Times

Due to an overwhelming response of new patient intakes, we currently have no estimate of wait times. You will be contacted by a member of our team as soon as your application has been processed. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to ensure safe and appropriate patient attachment to our clinic.

Health Connect Registry

Our application process is now through the “Health Connect Registry“.  Please apply for care via this central registry. We continue to work through the thousands of requests we have already received for patient care and book intake appointments daily as we work towards our attachment goal of 6800 patients by 2023.

Our application process is currently paused as we continue to work through the thousands of requests we have already received for patient care.

We are continuing to book intake appointments daily and anticipate opening our attachment process again in the future as we work towards our attachment goal of 6800 patients by 2023.  If you have already applied, we appreciate your patience as we work through the application process.
